Developing International Geoarchaeology (DIG) is a series of international conferences that bring together a wide variety of international researchers, practitioners and students in this diverse and interdisciplinary field, in order to facilitate discussion, stimulate research, and promote international scholarship in geoarchaeology.
DIG 2021 goes virtual !
While nothing can quite replace the unique benefits of face-to-face gatherings, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on travel restrictions and health guidelines raises important concerns regarding personal safety and public health appropriateness. Therefore, given the current uncertainties about the epidemiologic situation and the worldwide impact of this pandemic, the committee has decided that DIG2021 will be held fully online.
This will ensure that we are still able to present our results and foment discussion with our peers. The committee is looking into several options for virtual meeting formats and the details on how to upload talks and scheduling of discussion days will be communicated in due time. Registration fees have been eliminated.
