International workshop "Geoarchaeology in the Nile Delta"

"In this workshop we would like to focus on different geoarchaeological case studies with different re search questions and temporal emphases in the Nile Delta . Ideally we would like to have talks about sites and regions across the Nile Delta as well as different methodological approaches to the topic. Our aim is to bring together archaeologists and geoscientists who are working in this field and applying different methods, in order to enable an exchange of experience, to pursue various further geoarchaeological questions as well as to better understand the complex interactions between man and nature in this region , which is one of the richest archaeological areas in the world. [...]"
