"We invite you to participate in the third “World of Gravettian Hunters” conference, which is planned from 20 to 25 May, 2019, in Kraków, Poland. Archaeologists, paleozoologists, geologists, other specialists, and students are welcome to present the results of recent and/or synthesizing studies carried out on Gravettian and Epigravettian sites. The conference will provide a relatively intimate setting for participants to learn about and to discuss sites dating to a critical time period in European prehistory, ~30,000 to 15,000 years ago.
 

This conference continues the forum provided in the two earlier “World of Gravettian Hunters” conferences. Papers from the first conference in 2013 were published in the journal Quaternary International 359-360 (2015), and papers from the second conference in 2016 are “In Press” in the journal Quaternary Research.
More details and information about registration and venue will be provided in the first circular.
