A part-time Teaching Fellow (50%) is sought to work as part of the team running the MSc degree in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology, which has a large cohort of students who work largely in a laboratory setting and therefore require a significant amount of support.

 

The post-holder's main responsibility will be to support students in planning their dissertation projects and during their research and writing, with a programme of frequent tutorial meetings from February to September.

 

In addition, the post-holder will provide tutorial support for the ARCLG146 Methodology & Issues in Bioarchaeology and Palaeoepidemiology course, particularly advising the students with preparation of their reports on work carried out in the laboratory.

 

Applicants will have a PhD in Bioarchaeology or Forensic Anthropology. They will have experience of research-led teaching and evidence of teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate level in Bioarchaeology or Forensic Anthropology.
