The Humanities Center for Advanced Studies “Words, Bones, Genes, Tools: Tracking Linguistic, Cultural and Biological Trajectories of the Human Past” of the University of Tübingen.

 

The area of expertise should be human evolution, with emphasis on early hominin adaptation. A background in virtual anthropology or biomechanics is desirable.

The successful candidate should show an excellent research and publication record. He or she will be expected to contribute to the research, teaching and dissemination activities of the Center (symposia, colloquia, retreats).

Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Human Evolution or equivalent and an outstanding research record.
