University of Liverpool - Dept Archaeology, Classics & Egyptology
The Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology is seeking to appoint an individual to a 3-year fixed-term lectureship to cover for teaching and other responsibilities during the absence of Professor Anthony Sinclair who will be engaged in a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship project (“The Atlas of Archaeology: a scientometric analysis of disciplinary growth”).
You will be expected to participate in a range of archaeological teaching at all levels. This will involve a mixture of Palaeolithic, artefactual and general archaeological teaching, including Undergraduate and MA/Sc dissertation supervision.
There will also be the opportunity to develop research-based teaching related directly to the candidate's personal research programme.
You should have a PhD in Archaeology (or related field). The appointee will be expected to participate in ongoing curriculum development.
