Une session du 25ème Congrès de la SAfA = 25th Meeting of the Society of African Archaeologists"
Une vision parfaite (20:20) pour l’avenir de l’archéologie africaine = African archaeology — a 20:20 vision for the future"
The importance of absolute chronology for understanding human past, including cultural and environmental changes, does not need to be demonstrated. Meanwhile, chronological tools (Radiocarbon, luminescence, U-series/Electron Spin Resonance combined...) are constantly improved and these enhancement have benefited, among others, to the study of the Palaeolithic in Africa.
This session is dedicated to a non-specialist audience and will present these recent methodological improvements. Examples of their application to the African palaeolithic chronological framework throughout the Quaternary will be shown.
We are looking forward to receiving your abstract before 31 January 2020.
